TVersity offers better Nintendo Wii and DirectTV HR20 support
We are happy to announce the availability of TVersity 0.9.10.2 featuring better support for the Nintendo Wii and the DirectTV HR20.
The Adobe Flash interface for the Wii and PS3 is now fully operational via cursor motion/clicks and it no longer requires the use of arrow keys. This change was made to better support the Nintendo Wii:
- There is a new “up one level” button that is always visible and is more accessible than the one in the toolbar.
- The scroll bars are larger and allow page scrolling in addition to single item scrolling.
- Playback controls are displayed once the cursor is moved to the bottom of the screen.

It doesn't guite work on the WII because of the Small browser memorey. i constantly get eror: 241000 and eror: 241001 "not enaught memory.
For Wii users, use this URL to get around the memory errors:
http://tversity_host:41952/flashlib
The important part of the URL is the addition of "/flashlib". This will force the flash library to load only and will stop the memory errors from appearing.
The video images are reversed on the TV. How could I see the video correctly?
I am not able to browse all the file in the Tversity media library. It only shows the first page. How coul I advance to the next page of the library?
I just get a blank screen on the Wii.
The status bar fills and all I see is white. I tried the workaround from noel and it gave me the save the first time, then error 240004
My Wii brwoser restarts after a moment accessing the TVersity on my computer....
Btw, on the N800 video shows up upsidedown and flipped...
Didn't happen with all the formats, when transcoding from avi I think.
Works well with all formats I have tried.

After the May 2007 update, my 3rd party software doesn't stream videos correctly. Why?
Video navigation was changed in the May 2007 update. 3rd party software that does not support folders through network sharing will not work correctly. You'll have to contact the software developer for support.
Hi everyone,
I attempted to use the WII to play an AVI last night.
I used the http://TVersity_Host:41952/flashlib as recommended, the menu was displayed but when I selected the AVI to play nothing but the first frame displayed on the WII.
The WII is connected using Wireless to the LAN.
Does TVersity send the video stream as multicast or unicast??
Any ideas??

Yup, I am also getting a memory error still when I try to play mp3's, so close but so far. I really hope this can be nailed and made reliable, great idea.
I'd love to signup as a tester if you need more of them. I've been searching for something like this since I got my Wii last year and only found it through fluke today! Works great for video streaming.
Is there somewhere that feature requests should be posted?
I got mind working by pointing the wii browser at http://myhost:41952/lib.swf
